How Blueprinted Works

Marketing feels random because nobody’s running it. Here’s the system that fixes that.

Four pillars. One sequence. One scoreboard. One leader on the hook. Every paid engagement runs this system — starting with the Marketing Blueprint and laddering into a Strategic Advisor or Fractional CMO seat. Under $1M, start with the community instead.

The Four Pillars

Every engagement runs the same four pillars, in this order. Nothing is skipped. Nothing is random.

PILLAR 01

Diagnose

Find the truth before you spend a dollar. Revenue band assessment, marketing audit, capacity review, constraint map.

PILLAR 02

Blueprint

One page. Channel allocation, offer positioning, 90-day execution order, owner of every line item. If it doesn’t fit on a page, it’s not a plan.

PILLAR 03

Direct

I brief your team, vendors, and AI tools, set the standard, and hold each line accountable. The lead engine, booking protocol, conversion system, retention loop, and scoreboard get built — by the people you already pay, working from one plan.

PILLAR 04

Lead

Weekly KPI review, quarterly strategic sprints, vendor accountability, team coordination. The marketing meeting you stop having to run.

The Core Rule

Sequence beats volume. Every time.

Fix the leaks before you add the traffic. The right tactic at the wrong stage burns cash and confidence at the same time.

The Engagement Ladder

Four ways to work with Sam — most start at the top.

  1. The Marketing Blueprint — $7,500 · start here

A paid, fixed-scope diagnostic and 90-day plan, delivered in 2–4 weeks. The 7-zone teardown, the leak math, the scoreboard built in your stack, and a clear recommendation on which retainer tier fits. Every retainer engagement starts here — I'm paid to diagnose before I'm asked to lead.

  2. Strategic Advisor — starts at $7,500/month · $1M–$5M

For $1M–$5M operators with multiple marketing vendors in motion who need a North Star, not another hand on the wheel. I set the strategy and review the scoreboard monthly; your owner or office manager runs execution. Two strategy calls per month plus Slack/email access for the leadership team. 6–12 month minimum.

  3. Fractional CMO — starts at $15,000/month · $5M+

The sweet spot. $5M–$10M is where a serious fractional CMO engagement pays for itself clearly — the strategic leadership a $150K–$250K+ full-time CMO brings, at a fraction of the headcount cost. I hold the marketing seat on your leadership team: weekly meetings, direction for every agency, hiring and budget ownership, and one Quarterly Strategic Sprint every 90 days. 6–12 month minimum, scales with company size.

What I won't do — the boundary

The role is leadership and strategy. Technical implementation — SEO updates, ad management, web development, posting, copywriting, design — is your team's or your vendors' work. If the LSA is broken, I identify it, brief whoever runs it, and hold them accountable to a number. I don't log in and change the bid. That's not the seat.

The first win

What Changes First

The first win is usually not a dramatic marketing breakthrough. It is clarity.

The owner can finally see: where leads are coming from, which channels are creating booked jobs, where follow-up is breaking, where reviews are helping or hurting trust, which vendor activity matters, and what needs to happen next.

That clarity creates better decisions. Better decisions create better execution. Better execution creates better marketing.

That is the Blueprinted sequence.

Why bands matter

Different Stage. Different Leak.

A $600K contractor does not have the same marketing problem as a $4M contractor. That is why Blueprinted Marketing uses revenue bands.

  • Solo Hustle (under $1M) — The leak is usually visibility, consistency, and owner bandwidth. Community on-ramp, not a CMO.
  • Valley of Death ($1M–$5M) — The leak is usually tracking, booking, reviews, and inconsistent execution. Strategic Advisor when you’re running multiple vendors and decision quality has become the growth constraint.
  • Scaling Engine ($5M–$10M) — The sweet spot. The leak is usually vendor chaos, unclear attribution, and no one owning the full system. This is where the Fractional CMO seat pays for itself.
  • Market Dominator ($10M+) — The leak is usually leadership structure, channel allocation, and market defense. No-brainer vs. a $150K–$250K+ full-time CMO hire.

Same category. Different constraint. The band tells us where to look first.
